What is fax broadcasting?
Fax broadcasting, also called bulk fax or fax blasting, sends one fax to a long list of fax numbers at the same time. With GoFax online fax broadcasting, you upload your document and a list of numbers in your online account. GoFax sends each fax and reports on every result.
How to send a fax broadcast
Log in and go to Dashboard, then Send Fax Service, then Broadcast Fax (CSV upload).
1. Prepare your list
Save your fax numbers in a CSV file, in the first column under the heading "fax". Use international format with no spaces, for example 61212345678.

Fax marketing rules in Australia
If you send marketing faxes in Australia, you must follow the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 and the Telecommunications (Fax Marketing) Industry Standard 2021. In short:
Send only between 9am and 8pm on weekdays, and 9am and 5pm on Saturdays. Never on Sundays or national public holidays.
Show your business name, ABN, contact details, the recipient's fax number and how to opt out on the first page.
Remove anyone who opts out within 7 days.
Do not fax a registered number unless the owner has agreed.

GoFax was easy to set-up and use. I needed to fax tax documents to the US from NZ. GoFax did the trick. It took me less than 40 minutes from researching online fax software to getting my fax sent confirmations. 100 pages for A$15, highly recommended and great value, only problem now is what to do with remaining 96 pages!

Administation is easy - was able to create an email group, populate it, and then advertise that as the desitination for incoming faxes. The sender didn't know the difference! Furthermore, I was able to integrate into the scanning feature of the printer. All the user does is scan their page, creates a PDF and sends off the fax direct from the printer. The users love it and although we get plenty of messages about maintenance an updates, we have never had any problems using GoFax.

Quick, easy and worth doing
Joe was super helpful and his instructions were easy to understand and follow. He had the info at his fingertips and could recall my previous conversations with Natalie so that you didn't have to go through it all again. Fax broadcasting is the tool: sending one fax to many numbers. Fax marketing is one use of it, such as sending offers or updates to other businesses. Broadcasting is also used for non-marketing updates, such as price lists, alerts or notices to members.
