Service Specifications

Listed below are specifications and features as part of GoFax fax and SMS services.

GoFax Fax Send Service

  • Unlimited email addresses to send faxes
  • Wild card/ domain sending feature- add *@yourdomainname.com.au to enable your entire organisation
  • Sub users functionality
  • Fax to any fax number, including 1300, 13 and 1800 Australian fax numbers
  • Option to send in high resolution- additional charges apply
  • Option to send the body of an email as the first fax page
  • Maximum number of pages per fax = 500 pages. (Additional pages available on request)
  • Maximum total files and attachments size must be under 100 MB
  • Email confirmation delivery on fax success/failure
  • Option to attach original document to emailed delivery confirmation
  • Option to insert original subject line of the emailed fax into email delivery confirmations
  • Editable CSID per sender- must be numerical and a maximum of 20 characters
  • Editable fax header per sender
  • Option to add the recipients fax number to the fax header
  • Option to add page count to the fax header
  • Option to add a time stamp to the fax header
  • Option to have default regional area code (e.g. 02, 07) set to account
  • Ability to set the maximum page rate within an account
  • Option to customise low send credit reminder’s
  • Option to have accounts automatically top up send credits
  • Option for automatic emailed Excel (CSV) reports
  • Fax images for sent faxes are stored for up to 90 days after the fax is sent, unless the ‘Auto Delete’ function is selected, which automatically deletes fax images after the fax is successfully sent
  • Fax data and transaction history is available for 12 months after the send date

GoFax App (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop):

GoFax Fax Receive Service:

  • Unlimited email addresses to receive faxes
  • Received fax images are stored for up to 90 days
  • Fax data and transaction history is available for 12 months after the receive date
  • Optional ‘Auto Delete’ of received fax files, once activated the fax images/files are deleted after the received fax has been sent via email

GoFax SMS Service:

  • Unlimited email addresses to send SMS
  • Wild card/ domain sending feature- add *@yourdomainname.com.au to enable your entire organisation
  • One SMS message is calculated at 160 characters including spacing
  • Editable SMS Sender ID per sender- must be alpha numerical and a maximum of 10 characters including spaces. Only applicable for ‘No Managed Replies’.
  • Email confirmation delivery on SMS success/failure

GoFax Website:

  • Session time out after 15 minutes idle or when web browser is closed, unless the ‘Remember Me’ is selected
  • If login details need to be retrieved, the password must be reset
