2021 has been a busy year for the GoFax team as we worked hard behind-the-scenes to implement new features, enhance existing capabilities and build new integration partnerships with like-minded organisations to ensure we continue to offer you, our customers, the best service available.
We’ve put together a quick year in review, showcasing some of our major achievements of 2021 and providing you with some insights into what we have planned for 2022.
Launching the GoFax App
With the changing environment, one of the most requested GoFax features was to have a mobile app that was simple and easy to use in order to send and receive fax & SMS from anywhere. In mid-2021 we officially launched the GoFax app, providing customers with the ability to send & receive as well as manage your inbox and outbox activity, view active fax jobs and download or print messages and files direct from the app.

Integration partnership with ReferralNet
In 2021, our team looked for opportunities to partner with like-minded organisations in order to provide additional benefits for our customers. As we have over 15,000 clients in the healthcare industry, we approached Australia’s leading secure messaging platform, Global Health’s Referralnet, to offer a first-of-its-kind integration. Our partnership with Referrelnet provides healthcare organisations with a more secure way to exchange patient data via GoFax.

Integration partnership with PaperCut
Over the course of 2021, we worked closely with PaperCut to develop an integration that makes faxing from a multifunction device (MFD) simple and seamless. Any GoFax customer with a PaperCut-enabled MFD can now send their fax documents directly via GoFax using PaperCut’s Scan to Fax function, reducing paper usage and ensuring fax documents are sent and received securely.

Launching the GoFax Print Driver application (beta)
Another heavily requested feature by our customers was the ability to fax to print and print to fax. In late 2021, we launched the GoFax print driver (beta), providing our customers with the option to setup fax to print (automatically print received faxes using a physical or virtual printer) and print to fax (fax a document via GoFax using any application with a print function).

Moving into 2022
As we move into the new year, we will continue to expand and improve upon our service offerings by implementing new technologies to set the benchmark as leaders in the communications industry.
